| Instructions for this and many variations of the friendship bracelet litter the shelves of your public library, so if you need ideas ... you know where to look!
To make this bracelet, I used: one package of assorted blue beads ( some pony beads, others long and cylindrical) one package of 7/8" safety pins 2 standard claw jewelry clasps one spool of extra thin jewelry wire First, get comfy and put beads on the safety pins. This is the most time consuming step. Once you have a large pile, tie a clasp on one end of a long peice of wire. Repeat this step. (You will need two wires to make this bracelet.) Place several small pony beads on each wire, then begin stringing safety pins. remember to alternate the direction of each pin. ( The first one top up, the second top down....) When the bracelet is the desired length, finish with several small pony beads. Tie on the other side of the clasp. |
